Medieval Metalwerx was built to house a high-tech manufacturing facility that engineers and produces custom race car chassis and sets a new standard in metal manufacturing. This highly specialized space required new construction of a 100’x250’ pre-engineered metal building. The 25,000 SF building comprises 22,600 SF of warehouse space and 2,400 SF of mezzanine, containing six offices, storage areas, and a conference room.
In addition to the three-inch insulated metal panels used for the sidewalls, this project required uniquely specialized electrical and air filtration systems to meet manufacturing standards and maximize energy efficiency. APX acted as the developer and general contractor ‒ handling site selection, pre-design, estimating, scheduling, coordination, and interior finishes. This complex project required exceptional attention to scheduling and cost management.
