As a third-generation contractor with over 25 years of experience in the construction industry, Ryan Evenson, President of APX Construction leads a team that strives to be the best in every aspect of the commercial construction business. Ryan has a bachelor’s degree from Minnesota State University – Mankato, in Construction Management and graduated Magna Cum Laude. He is passionate about providing APX clients with the highest quality craftsmanship and unparalleled customer service. To do this he brings together a long-standing tradition of construction experience, harnessed with leading-edge technology and resources. He takes great pride in knowing client expectations and then surpassing them. Outside of work, Ryan enjoys spending quality time with his family, hunting, fishing and supporting local charitable organizations. He currently resides near Madison Lake, MN with his wife, two daughters, and son.

Mitch Rohlfing, Chief Operating Officer of APX Construction Group is an experienced construction project manager with expertise in bidding, budgeting, site safety, subcontractor management and contract execution. Mitch has a bachelor’s degree from Minnesota State University – Mankato, in Construction Management and is energetic and dedicated to providing excellence and consistency across all facets of APX’s process. With specialized skills in complex commercial structures, Mitch is highly proficient in managing and balancing all aspects of scheduling, estimating and budgeting. His proficiency in handling construction methods and materials allows him to consistently exceed both performance and quality standards. Outside of work, Mitch enjoys spending time outdoors, hunting, fishing and spending time with his family.

Jamie Jacobs joined APX Construction Group in June of 2020 specializing in interior design, marketing, event planning, and business development. She comes to APX with 18 years of professional design and construction experience. Jamie earned her bachelor’s degree from Minnesota State University – Mankato, in Interior Design and Construction Management. Jamie enjoys the challenges of working in a constantly changing commercial building industry. She appreciates task diversity and understands that by embracing flexibility she can build strong relationships and develop trust with the end-users. Her team is working to redefine the construction experience and what a client should expect from their General Contractor. Outside of work, Jamie is the mother of two young boys. She has been involved with numerous non-profits over the years, such as the Commercial Council of the Minnesota River Builders Association, Minnesota Valley Action Council, and the United Way. She sits on the Board of Directors for Greater Mankato Growth and is one of the founders of Raw Fusion Fashion Show. Jamie believes in being a good steward to the community she lives and does business in.

Emile is our Chief Financial Officer; her strategic mindset helps align financial decisions with long-term goals of the company. Emilie has nearly twenty years of experience in accounting, finance, budgeting and forecasting. After graduating with her Bachelors of Science in Accounting from Minnesota State University, Mankato, she has spent her career in manufacturing and construction. Emilie works diligently to ensure projects meet customer budgets. She leads the finance department in accurate reporting, compliance and risk management. Emilie enjoys hiking, watching her daughters play sports and volunteers at her children’s’ school on the PTO and Volunteer Board.

Nate joined the APX team in 2022 as the Vice President of Construction. Nate brings 16 years of experience in pre-construction services, estimating, field supervision and project management. His passion for collaborating and bringing successful projects to fruition is evident throughout his work. Nate thrives to deliver an exceptional customer experience from project conception to completion. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Construction Management from North Dakota State University. Outside of work, Nate and his wife have two young daughters. He enjoys pheasant hunting, golfing, running and cooking. He volunteers as a Sunday school teacher at his church and as a Cavalier for Greater Mankato Growth. Setting up clients and projects for success drives him to be the best he can be.

Jess Blais joined APX Construction Group bringing over 11 years of media experience including promotion development and execution, project management, and event planning. She has also worked closely with dozens of nonprofit organizations including serving on the Board of Directors for the Greater Mankato Area United Way and acting as the 2021 Fundraising Campaign Chair. She hosted a morning radio show for over a decade, and more recently, a podcast. She believes in the power of clear communication and big ideas. She works diligently to bring quality engagement and results to every project.

Jessica brings a wealth of diverse experience to APX Construction Group, with a strong background in Customer Service, B2B Sales, and Marketing across multiple industries, including government, agriculture, and technology. Her expertise lies in identifying new business opportunities and cultivating strategic relationships. Jessica has demonstrated her leadership and community commitment through her involvement in the Lifescape Journey for Hope campaign, her service on the City Council, and her role on the Board of Directors for Trinity Lutheran Daycare. Additionally, she has volunteered with Girls on the Run, served as a Chamber Builder, and was recently appointed as an Ambassador for the Greater Sioux Falls Chamber of Commerce
